Our family would like to thank you for helping us find and purchase our lake home. It is exactly what we wanted at the price we wanted. I want to personally thank you for diligently working with us on finding the perfect place, it was very difficult. While our quest began 3 years ago, it was not until we started working with you about 3 months ago that we were really able to make real progress on finding a place. And once you helped us find it, you were right there to help us along with the inspections, appraisals and closing. From start to finish, you were a top notch professional all the way!
I would offer this advice to people looking to buy on Lake Hartwell. First, buy a boat and learn the lake, there is no better or faster way to see property on the lake than in a boat. Second, it is frustrating, because what you are buying you cannot easily see, that is depth of the water. When we started looking the lake was down 14 feet, a lot of docks were dry. Finally, once you are ready to buy, work with a professional like Debbie and be willing to work just as hard as she does finding a place.
Know what you want and be willing to pay for what you get. Unfortunately, since the lake is in two states, there is more than one listing service making it difficult to search for a place. Working with Debbie, I would scan the other agency web sites (as would she) and she would scan the different listing services. However, in the end, she was the one that found the perfect place for us.
Again Debbie, from Monica, myself and our two daughters, Cristina and Andrea, thank you very much. We look forward to having you over for a cook-out this summer and wish you continued success in your business.

I wanted to take a moment to offer you my sincere appreciation for your diligence, aid and most importantly your honesty when helping my wife and I purchase our lake home. My wife and I have purchased 5 homes in our lives and none of our transactions was more pleasant. You are truly a model that should be utilized when sculpting credible real estate professionals.
When we originally contacted your office via the web, we were in Savannah, GA. looking at homes on the ocean. Our young son did not fair well on the long drive from Atlanta so as we were considering homes we were reconsidering the whole idea. Shortly after leaving you an email you sent me an entire package which enticed Ginger and I to make a last minute excursion to Hartwell. The short initial drive from Atlanta was great and as we reached your office we were very excited about the prospect of owning a home on Lake Hartwell.
Upon our arrival you told us that you just found the perfect home for us, one that was not in our initial package and one that to our amazement was not your personal listing. We looked at a host of properties and then came to the one you were so excited about. When we walked in we were instantly enchanted with its personality. The one thing that we couldn't figure out was why you were leading us to the property. We knew that you could sell us one of your own listings and make double the commission. After some relatively quick negotiating and a lot of diligent work on your part we managed to buy the home at what we deemed a good value and what you deemed a great value.
Now that six months have passed, we know the lake a whole lot better and we have spent some considerable time in the house. We now know why you pointed us in the direction of the home we purchased. You simply are not a traditional realtor; you are friend in the real estate business who had our needs first in your line of priorities. Since this place was a big investment for us, I can't tell you how much we appreciate your dedication to helping us find the best possible house for our needs.
In addition to your aid in finding the house, your dedication to making the entire process easy was astounding. From making sure we had Corp. of Engineer inspections, to home inspections, to working with the county and picking me up to take me to closing, you were there during the entire process. When you offered to help us six months after we purchased the house on the tax bill we were once again genuinely astounded by your dedication.
I look forward to working with you again in the future and the next time I buy any home, investment property etc. I will be sure to utilize you. Thanks again for helping us purchase a place that will provide a lifetime of memories for our family.
